Sedjenane Battlefield Sketch Map

This sketch map of the Sedjenane and Green Hill positions in early 1943 has been copied from the 1946 Battalion History. The high ground on either side of the rough track running through the valley of the ‘Durham Attack’ would be Djebel Guerba and Point 231 to the left and Djebel Sincira and Djebel Galb Sour to the right. These positions were held by German Parachute Engineers from the morning of the first DLI advance, on 27/2/43.
