This Roll of Honour for the 16th Battalion DLI is arranged in two ways. Firstly, as an alphabetical listing which contains next-of kin information from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission whenever this is known. And secondly, as a shortened chronological listing, which also includes a selection of photographs. Also, in the Army Numbers section of the site, casualties with 445-446 ‘DLI Numbers’ are arranged in sequence with other known 16 DLI servicemen: those taken POW and Gallantry Award holders. Casualties with ‘non-DLI’ numbers will be added to that listing in due course.

The INTRODUCTION on the next page explains in detail the several sources I have used in compiling the Roll. Please read this carefully before comparing the Roll to other sources.

The listings are arranged as set out below. Click on the hyperlink to go to the chosen page.
